Director – Andy Roberts

Andy has been the director at SMU Wesley since June of 2007. He is an ordained elder in full connection in the North Georgia Annual Conference where he served several local churches before moving to Dallas. In ministry he loves teaching, preaching, and spending time with college students.  Andy graduated from the University of Georgia and Erskine Theological Seminary in the Due West, South Carolina. Andy is married to Gretel Roberts and is the father of Maggie, age 4, and twin 2 year old boys, Micah and Jack. Andy is a wannabe rock star who can still play just about every song off of the Led Zeppelin I album. He also follows University of Georgia football obsessively.

 Associate Director – Caren Dilts

Caren is the associate director at SMU Wesley. While she is new to SMU, campus ministry is very dear to her heart, having been on staff at the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation for 8 years. After a year at the American Cancer Society in Athens, Caren felt called back to campus ministry and was excited to answer that call! She loves to see students passionately pursue Jesus, grow in their identity in Christ, and grow together in community. Jamaica is also one of her passions and she will be leading a spring break mission trip there. Originally from Albany, GA Caren considers Athens, GA her home and is proud to be a Georgia Bulldog! She graduated from UGA with a degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders. She loves cheering on the Dawgs, the beach, cooking, and taking care of people. Caren is very excited to be a part of the SMU community!
